Conforms to water resistance requirements of BS 5980 Type 1
Class AA.
DESCRIPTION:
A rapid setting flexible water resistant cement based powder
grout suitable for grouting floor tiles to a joint width between 3mm and
15mm.Adding Flexmaster additive will increase durability, bond strength and
flexibility.
ADVANTAGES:
* Fast setting formula * Light foot
traffic after 3 hours * Flexible * Internal
and external locations.
* Highly durable * Available
in Grey, White, Ivory, Brown, Charcoal, Beige, Limestone, Sandstone and Light Standstone.
USES:
Formulated for use on glazed and unglazed tiles fixed to
substrates that require limited movement, vibration or unusual temperature
change, essential for timber based flooring or under floor heating, in both wet
and dry conditions, internally and externally.
When mixed with Flexmaster additive will increase durability, water
resistance, bond strength and flexibility.
Please refer to our“Tile to Substrate “guide or call our 24 hr helpline

APPLICATION:
Only mix small quantities at a time until you have become
accustomed to the fast setting nature of the product. Always mix powder to water and mix to a
buttery consistency, never add water after initial mixing, as this will impair
the strength of the grout. As an
approximate guide for powder to water ratio, 20K of powder requires approximately
5L of water. Using a rubber squeegee or
trowel, thoroughly work grout into the joints in as large an area as possible
to the facing edge of the tile before hardening commences. For a neater finish, smooth joints with a
suitable round headed tool of suitable size and shape. Remove excess grout from the face of tiles
within approximately 30 minutes of application with a damp cloth. If Flexmaster additive has been mixed with
the grout you must be more aware of cleaning excess grout from the surface of
the tile as the water resistancy will make it very difficult to clean the tiles
once hardening has started. Setting time
and strength development of grout will vary with temperature; it will be slowed
by lower temperature and accelerated by higher temperature. Do not use below 5’C.
COVERAGE:
10k pack will grout up to 6.5sq metres of 150mm by 150mm by 8mm tile
with an 8mm grout joint.
