WALL TILE GROUT

SPECIFICATION CATEGORY:

Conforms to water resistance requirements of BS 5980 Type 1Class AA.

DESCRIPTION:

A brilliant white, instant mix, compressible cement basedgrout for finishing joints in ceramic wall tiles.  It has been specially formulated usingcarefully selected cements and polymers to give a smooth creamy controlledworkability, water repellence and ease of use. It is suitable for wall joints up to 3mm.

USES:

For grouting around all wall tiles in most interior andexterior applications.  Not recommendedfor grouting work tops where food will be prepared.  It is ideal for areas that are subject toprolonged wet conditions and condensation such as domestic bathrooms andkitchens, communal showers and commercial kitchens.  By adding Flexmaster additive you can improvedurability, flexibility bond strength and resistance to water and mould.  For assistance please call our 24hourhelpline on 01257 269243.

APPLICATION:

Add powder to water, approximately 100 grams of grout to 35ml of water, stir continuously to form a smooth lump free paste.  Using a rubber squeegee or sponge, thoroughlywork grout into the joints  ensuring theyare well filled and any air pockets have been expelled.  For a neater finish, smooth joints with agrout finisher or round headed tool of suitable size and shape.  Remove excess grout from the face of tilesimmediately with a damp cloth or sponge. When grout has dried, polish tiles with a damp cloth.  Do not wet the tiled area for at least 24hours to allow the grout to harden fully. To maintain mould resistance clean periodically with a non abrasivecleaner.

COVERAGE:1k pack will grout up to 3.3sq metres of 150mm by 150mm by 5mm tilewith a 2mm grout joint.

STORAGE:Store in a cool dry area. Shelf life should be approximately 6 months.

LIMITATIONS:Do not use in areas subject to continuous water immersion, swimmingpools or food preparation work tops.
